- Data Conversion - Rolta has been in the GIS business for more than 20 years and has successfully completed over 50 GIS data conversion projects valued at over $100 Million. Rolta also has over a decade of experience in the conversion of hardcopy and digital data to GIS models. This has included land-base models, gas, electric and telephone data models using a variety of digital data formats and/or manual records.
- Data Migration - As the industry has matured, GIS users are faced with migrating their data from one GIS model to another in order to keep up with advancing technologies. Data model changes are usually desired for enhanced applications or mergers and acquisitions requiring standardization. Migration may involve upgrading within current software to transition to a different software application. Rolta accepts client’s GIS data in any format. Once received, it is processed through our system using automated and interactive migration tools and then delivered back in the specified format.
- Work Order Posting - In the GIS industry, maintaining up to date records is a must but too often our customers do not have enough resources available to keep the backlog at bay. Rolta can help you get your data current and keep it maintained. We have experience maintaining records in all areas of GIS.

- GIS Mapping, Photogrammetric Mapping and LiDAR Processing - These services include processing of aerial images, remote-sensed multi-spectral and hyper-spectral data and LiDAR inputs. Other solutions include 3D terrain modeling, true orthophoto creation, digital cartography, base map creation and update, 3D GIS creation, analysis and visualization.

Rolta has been awarded certifications such as ISO 9001:2000, SEI CMM Level 5 and BS15000, emerging as one of the few companies in the industry to possess such accreditations. The Quality Assurance Department, which is independent from the project organization structure, has the same role on each Rolta project. Rolta maintains QA/QC software to verify and validate the data during all GIS projects, which will be modified to meet the demands of the individual client’s project specifications. Rolta tailors its QA/QC procedures for each project based on the scope of work required and the condition of the source documents.
