Rolta bags USD 2 Million order
Mumbai: Rolta India Limited, India's premier CAD/CAM/GIS solutions and services provider has bagged a prestigious Geo-engineering project valued at US$ 2.00 Million from a leading Electric & Gas Utility Corporation based in USA. This project will involve implementation of an Automated Mapping/ Facility Management System. This is a break through order in the Electric & Gas Utility field for Rolta, which has already established its leadership in the telephone utility sector. This further reinforces the renewed thrust of the company in export of I.T. enabled services.
RoltaNet, the Company's Internet Service Division has already obtained the license to provide Internet Telephony Service to RoltaNet members through voice-grade PC-to-PC Telephony using high-speed Internet bandwidth. The agreement for providing Internet Telephony was signed with the Government of India on April 30, 2002.
