Rolta India Ltd Assessed at SEI CMM Level 5
The Software Development division of Rolta India Limited has been assessed at SEI CMM Level 5 for Software development and testing by KPMG. With this Rolta has achieved yet another milestone in its vision towards providing total commitment to the needs of its customers. This Division addresses the Application Solutions and Advance Technologies Solutions related to Geo Engineering/GIS, Engineering Design Automation, eSolutions and Smart Card Systems.
CMM is a framework that describes the key elements of an effective software process and covers practices for planning, engineering, and managing software development and maintenance. As the framework assesses an organization's ability to develop customized solutions, the CMM Level 5 assessment establishes Rolta's expert capabilities in designing end-to-end, process-driven business solutions for its clients. It also ensures predictable delivery, defect free software to customers. This assessment will provide customers the assurance of delivery of superior value and quality in IT solutions and services from Rolta India Limited.
