Rolta in First 250 list of Asia-Pacific Technology Fast 500
Joins elite regional and global group acknowledged for excellence in growth
Mumbai, 18 December 2002: Rolta India Limited, India's premier CAD/CAM/GIS solutions and services provider, has been placed on the First 250 list of the Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Asia-Pacific Technology Fast 500.
Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu has identified the First 250 fast-growth companies in a lead up to its Asia-Pacific Technology Fast 500. The Technology Fast 500 program recognizes fast growing technology companies across Asia Pacific and is a growth benchmark of success. This program, an industry-ranking standard, was created to recognize the effort and dedication of some of the fast growing technology companies (based on revenue growth between 1999 and 2001) in the Asia-Pacific Region and includes all areas of technology, from Internet to biotechnology, from medical and scientific to computers. To qualify for the ranking, firms must be involved in proprietary technology that contributes significantly to their operating revenues, manufacture a technology product or be deeply involved in technology research and development.
Rolta will now become part of an elite regional and global group of technology companies acknowledged for their excellence in growth. This selection reaffirms Rolta's position as a leading IT services and solutions provider in Asia after being ranked, second year in a row, by Forbes Global amongst the 200 Best Companies in the World 2002 (having sales of less than US $ 1 Billion).
